    Bent Tracks

    Sliding windows glide along a track, and over time, this part of the window will get bent out of its original shape. A bent track will cause operational problems for your windows, but they are fairly easy to tap back to its original shape. You simply need to place a piece of hardwood against it and tap with a hammer. Do this at your own risk.

    Rattling Windows

    Rattling is a fairly common problem in older and improperly installed windows, but it’s more apparent in sliding windows due to the way the frame sits on the track. If your sliding windows rattle due to old age, you can try to fit replacement insulation on them.
