Renewal by Andersen’s Signature Service

The problem with premanufactured windows is that there’s no guarantee that they’ll fit your home. After all, no two homes are exactly alike, which is why a window replacement needs to be customized to ensure they’ll be the right fit.

Our Streamlined Window Manufacturing Process

From the drafting of your customized window’s design right down to its installation in your home, Renewal by Andersen maintains complete oversight over the entire manufacturing process. This integrated manufacturing process ensures the quality of every window that comes out of the factory line.

Premium Options that Give Value for Your Money

Renewal by Andersen offers customers a wide variety of window styles, including sliding and casement windows. To expand our premium options and give customers value for their money, we invest heavily in research and development, years of which culminated in the discovery of Fibrex®, an exclusive composite that combines the best qualities of wood and vinyl. This composite is as sturdy and durable as natural wood but doesn’t need as much maintenance.

COVID-19 Adjustments and Virtual Consultations

In response to the pandemic, Renewal by Andersen of Knoxville has taken the necessary precautions to limit the spread of the virus and protect our customers. We’re strictly following CDC guidelines for businesses, which includes more frequent cleaning of office spaces and more stringent health precautions during in-home consultations. We also offer free virtual consultations to customers who prefer staying at home.

We try our best to meet our customers’ expectations and honor scheduled appointments. However, should a member of your family fall ill or you have any concerns about in-home consultations and decide to cancel the appointment, we completely understand. Our customers’ health, safety, and comfort are always paramount, which is why we’re constantly looking for ways to meet your needs and expectations while ensuring your health and safety.

Preparing for a Window Consultation

If you decide to schedule an in-home consultation, here are a few preparation tips:

  • Try to visualize your new interior – If you don’t have a clear vision for your window replacement project, you’ll most likely end up disappointed with the end result, no matter how it turns out. That’s why it’s important that you visualize what your new interior looks like.
  • Prepare pictures of your preferred window designs – It’ll be easier for you to communicate your design preferences by showing these pictures to our design consultant, who can then make recommendations. A picture, as the saying goes, is worth a thousand words.
  • Identify your needs – Windows are a source of natural lighting and ventilation. However, not all window styles can provide the same level of lighting and ventilation. For instance, double-hung windows would be a smart choice if you want to improve indoor ventilation. The bottom window sash lets in fresh, cool air while the upper sash lets warm, humid air out.

Questions to Ask

You might also want to ask the design consultant some of these questions:

  • How can you make the most of a window replacement? – For instance, thanks to their simple design, casement windows have wide glass areas that allow more sunlight into your home. Of course, sunlight can be too much of a good thing. If too much heat builds up, your interior could become uncomfortably warm. That’s why it’d be a good idea to choose casement windows with insulated glass units or energy-efficient glass like our High Performance™ Low-E4® glass.
  • Which window materials are suited to your area’s climate? – For instance, you should choose window materials that can withstand abrupt changes in temperature like Fibrex if you’re living in areas with a temperate climate, like Tennessee.
