Here’s a quick look at its coverage:

1. High-Performance™ Low-E4® Glass – A large portion of a replacement window’s long-term performance depends on the quality of the glass. It should be able to minimize thermal transfer, otherwise, glass can cause heat-loss during winter and heat-gain during summer. All Renewal by Andersen replacement windows come with High-Performance Low-E4 Glass, covered by a 20-year limited warranty against issues that may be caused by manufacturing defects. Should this happen, we will repair the window glass at no cost to you.

2. Fibrex® material – Fibrex is developed by our parent company Andersen® Corporation as the frame, sash, and exterior grille material of every window replacement we manufacture. It is a composite made from wood fibers and polymer, combining the strength and insulation of wood with the low-maintenance benefits of vinyl. Its proven durability and longevity is bolstered by our 20-year limited warranty, which covers blistering, peeling, flaking, rusting, cracking, pitting or corrosion. The exterior color also features a 10-year limited warranty against fading.

3. Other Components – All other components, including screens, weatherstripping, and most hardware options, are protected by a 10-year limited warranty, and will likewise be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.

4. Installation – Window installation is a critical part of every replacement window. No matter how well-engineered and well-built the replacement windows are, they won’t perform as designed if they’re not installed properly. This is why our Transferable Limited Warranty includes a 5-year installation warranty, when most replacement window contractors only offer 2 years. Should any problems arise from installation errors, it will be corrected and brought up to our professional standards, at no cost to you.
