Windows Are Energy-Efficient

Here at Renewal by Andersen® of New Jersey-New York Metro, we offer you the best energy-efficient windows in the industry. Read on to see why you just can’t beat our energy-efficiency ratings.

Q: What Materials Do We Use?

A: When we have a window replacement or installation, we make sure to use the best materials for both our frames and glass. Our frames are made of Fibrex®, which is a composite of wood and vinyl that combines all their strengths and none of their drawbacks. This is combined with our special High-Performance™ Low-E4® glass, which has been tested to be more energy efficient than regular windows by 45 percent in the summer and 56 percent in the winter.

Q: What Makes Them Special?

A: Our Fibrex frames, which we offer for both our doors and windows, are made of 40 percent composite wood fibers and 60 percent thermopolymer. These recycled materials make Fibrex greener than vinyl or other composites. Fibrex also has insulating properties to help the glass reduce energy transfer. Meanwhile, our glass can reduce the amount of heat that goes into and out of your home. It has double glass panes to help diffuse the heat in the window so that less radiant heat passes through.
